you thought wrong, missy produces with timberland (they are school friends) and has a big part in the look of her videos
i think i once read that 'produced by missy elliot' means, that she's humming melodies and stuff, and the actual producer does the job. i think she never touched a knob in her life. :corntard:
Timberland has a big enough ego and voice that he'd make it clear if he was the sole producer, missy makes decisions on the sound- producer in the usual meaning of the word like Phil Specter, Quincy Jones George Martin (or Dr Dre, P Diddy etc) ....think electronic music types can get a bit hung up on a producer just being someone that is good at using a DAW and making all the sounds themselves.

I don't like most rap coming from the states after g-funk but I enjoyed some of her older stuff when I heard it.

I remember years ago there was info about her and Skream collaborating in the studio. Was that BS, or was it just something like that Eve & Benga tune where she rapped over one of his old tracks?
