I used to get my dick sucked when I was in a metalcore band, producing didn't help my dick-got-sucked rate, made it worse actually lol.
Make music for yourself and post it on the forums or soundclouds or just show it to your family and friends. By producing for yourself and only yourself, you WILL put out tons of crap. Just keep on making music and studying music whenever you get time, you will end up getting better and finding your own style. THIS will get you noticed.

Keep practising try and get to know some producers so you can share tracks for feedback and maybe collab, then try sending your tracks to some youtube channels with a decent audience as having 40 subscribers is never going to be very rewarding view-wise. It would be ideal to wake up and be amazing at making music but you've got to earn everything in life so just keep going!
And you seem slightly arrogant, dont be like that
Good luck!

You have more than 3 female body parts, I'd see a doctor about that mate.

I recognize myself (a little bit) in you, I'm also 14 years old and live pretty far away from civilization. I've been producing for a couple of years now (I started to produce dubstep about a year ago) and I feel that I can't get my music published in the right way (I'm very satisfied with my followers but I want to get even more noticed). Feel free to give me some feedback on my tracks, here's my SoundCloud:

P.S. Sorry if I sound like a fretful deuce
Thanks

Man seems like there are a lot of youngns on here! I'm 13, so Im part of this crowd too!
I think the main reason that we don't have a huge amount of followers is, well, because were so young....
My main thing is I try not to follow as much as I am followed. I don't have as many followers ecause of it, but honestly when I look at someone with thousands of followers, and they follow even more people? I feel like they're just being followed because they follow other people, like "you follow me I'll follow you"

Just produce, don't try and force tunes onto anyone. I'm not really answering the question, but getting a bigger listening crowd shouldn't be the aim.
Personally, I'm making stuff, keeping it to myself for the most part, and when I have quite a few tunes that I personally rate really highly, I want to get something released on a small label. That's the producing dream atm.
Good luck whatever you choose, but imo its a bit unreliable aiming to be a world class producer/dj for a career. I'd be happy to have a regular job, and put out a couple of releases a year.

not being funny but no-one cares what age you are.
if your good, your good...if your not, your not.
it doesnt matter whether your 13 or 30.

Hilarious thread, you're 14.. Go get drunk in your local park with your mates and smoke your first spliff or something. You're not going to be the next Skrillex or be rich at 18

your music will speak for it'self, someone with a little bit of influence will eventually pick up on it.. then the word will get around and before you know it you've got yourself a small fanbase.
take your time though, the bigger your fanbase the more mixes, bookings, interviews etc.. you'll have to do, which is a pain in the ass when you've got bills to pay and a job to go to (if you're 13 then it's all good though!)
so yeah, the classic, but best advice is just try your best to make some nice honest music, people will connect with it if you 'keep it real'

I don't think it have anything to do with your age (maybe just the contacts) cause I don't mention my age anywhere, I find that pretty unnecessary.

No one gives a shit about how old you are. If your tunes are good, people will listen. If people aren't listening, practice making your tunes better.
