Best Fried Chicken Shop UK (BFCSUK™)

Post by murky21 » Mon Jan 09, 2012 11:19 am

1 choice + reasons... rep your chicken shop ends!

my vote -

Chicken Cottage, North End Road, Fulham
Stupidly friendly staff, flashy looking point of sale signs, nice range of not too dry not too greasy chicken, quite plush seating, handy hand wash bowel near chairs

Chicken Cottage - Tooting Broadway

Always seems to be open no matter what time I stagger past there, and the number 16 (6 piece spicy wings, chips & a drink) has sorted me out more times than I care to remember in the last 5yrs.

Colonel. For the gravy.

It's where the phrase 'it's all gravy' comes from, I'm sure of it.

FUCK my postcode for it's lack of fried chicken shops. KFC at Marble Arch is my nearest shout... Cafe Zehna on Oxford St is a plague outbreak disguised as a takeaway.

Dont really touch Sams anymore unless I really am in a state.

Used to be decent when it was 2 strip burgers and 2 chips for £2 but its been £2.35 or something for ages now so fuck that!

Allens chicken is good in manchester.

To his credit, he finished the whole 2lbs of chicken wings within the 15min time limit with a couple of seconds to spare.

Chicken Cottage is still all good - franchised so the difference between different ones can be light and day.
