BEFORE YOU GUYS CLICK THIS:

#1 "dubstep" "track" of the year is a Skrillex song................should tell you enough, don't waste your time unless you wan't a good laugh.

I have a slight premonition / clairvoyance that this won't get the best of responses (rightfully so), you posted this on the wrong forum bud. Every single "track" you posted is beyond horrible

Ps.Propaganda? Green and Blue? Hunted? Turn? Drones? Haymaker? Phatty Drummer? Babylon Fall? Meanstreak? Ruffhouse?

why did i click it :( skrillex getting grammy for best new artist :(

this makes me about as sad as this thread on the starcraft forum i moderate (i'm nodgE): http://starcraftdream.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55081

i clicked on it hoping to see something decent and it was seriously nothing but shit, until one dude came out of the cuts to post some burial and shackleton. glad to be able to browse this site and feel at home amongst true dub heads :corndance:

some kid after i posted a link to propaganda: "I'm sorry but if that's original dub, then thank god Americans got a hold of it so we can turn that crap shit into something people can enjoy listening too. Yay for America!"

Thread makes me so angry...just wanted to reach through the internet and strangle those tnucs calling skrillex and bar9 and the like "good dubstep", saying there's no bass drop in Hunted....seriously, what the fuck. :u:

real talk
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

It would be nice if the Top 15 "Dubstep" Tracks of 2011 were actually dubstep.

I don't think anyone can deny the influence and effects Skrillex is having on the rise of dubstep in America and even around the world now. Even though Cinema is cheesy and upbeat it's actually a pretty fun track to sing along and party to! That combined with all his success and accomplishments this year-- I think he definitely earned that spot ;-)

I am willing to accept that there is a segment of 'dubstep' fans who like the style of the producers you listed(hell I listen to brostep once in awhile) but seriously Meshblorg, 'Bass Cannon' is a terrible terrible 'song'(and I use that term loosely). I would listen to a million Skrillex, Doctor P, Ajapai songs on repeat before I even come close to torturing my ears with that abortion of a tune.

I explained why I put every track on there 8) There's a lot of incredible dubstep tracks I had to leave out by artists like Phaeleh, Distance, and Phutureprimitive. They are amazing tunes but I couldn't call them tracks of the year.

You guys are focusing way too much on the top 3 tracks and ignoring the rest of the list ;-) Let's not be unreasonable here. It would be way too arrogant to simply ignore the mainstream successes Nero, Flux, and Skrillex this year. They've carried dubstep to new heights and the wide reach of their tracks definitely earn them top spots.

No one is denying his ability to make music. It's the fact he's been pigeonholed as a dubstep artist when he is clearly not.

I'd consider him a bass artist because he also makes moombahton and drum'n'bass. :W:

You are missing my point, all I am saying is Bass Cannon is poo and shouldn't be recognized as a good tune by even the broest of bro's. I would rather you have included another Skrillex song over that.
