Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I think I`ve pretty much completed everything now albeit a few misc quests.
Shadowmere is an amazing horse on steroids.
Don`t jump off mountains though, he`ll die.
All in all it was a great game.
You think you`re finished and you open another massive quest.
Plus it looks incredible.

The shadowmere dying from a small drop is well annoying. I use him to tank dragons because he's invincible, then I fell off a small rock last night and he died permanently. Thank fuck for autosave.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i still haven't done the dark brotherhood quest line (completed most of the other story a month or two ago i think)
is it really worth me playing it? unless there is an awesome quest in it then i don't want to bother
spoil me and you shall be spoiled, like milk

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I played through all of the storylines and I found them all to be pretty fun. All I'm gonna say is don't do what I did and wait till level 54 to finish the main questline. Massive anti-climax, even on Master difficulty.
Also do not underestimate magic schools that seem to be a waste of time like alteration, conjuration and restoration. All three have proved to be very useful to me. Not sure what Illusion is all about though. Load of bollocks if you ask me.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i grinded to level 40 something and then finished the game, should have just stayed level 7 or something for difficulty
conjure double frost atronarchs & then pull the whole instance
as long as you have high destruction then you can lay flame traps everywhere & aoe the shit out of them
oh and get that big orc dude to tank for you

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Make sure you play the main story till at least after you meet the Greybeards, then you can wander off and do other stuff. But don't leave the main story too long or it becomes slightly underwhelming.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
ive done enough up to the point where ive had them all shout at me and i killed the first named dragon with whatshername

I love my Dragon Bone Armour, with an enchanted Glass War hammer.
Killing machine
With slow-mo on top of that.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Do dragons still attack you once you've completed the main quest? Been binning it off just in case anything significant changes in the game world. I'm level 50, did the main quest up until the Thalmor Embassy mission and that's it.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I was worried about that happening but they kept appearing after I'd finished the quest.
