Pre-Confield Autechre is some of my favorite music of all time. Just today I dug out the Tri Repetae disc and popped it in. It still sounds fresh, like it could have been released last week. I don't know how they managed to create timeless electronic music back in the mid 90's, but somehow they did.

:z:

Basically bought the entire autechre back catalogue over the past year, on CD where I can and mp3 where no physical copy is available.

Love it, in a twisted nonsensical kinda way. Its a very warped kind of genius that takes a long time to understand just how great (moste of) their work is.

Looking forward to Oversteps (whatever it may sound like...), and got my ticket for the london leg of their european tour. Bring it on!

bumping this because the boxset containing most of their ep that got released a few weeks ago is stunning. shows perfectly how they managed to constantly evolve yet always remain amazing and interesting... one of the best bands ever for sure. them playing live in lille last year was also the best live show i've ever seen.

I liked their late 90's stuff a lot. And I just bought LP5 recently on vinyl, which made me a very happy man!!!

Love how their production style has developed over the last decade. They kick ass live as well.

out of all the "skeng" remixes, I think I enjoy playing theirs out the best.
really sick tune!

though that version is different from the bug double 12" vinyl.

this is off that red 2x12" called "Infected", very good EP!

Got their 5 ep boxset the other week.

It's brilliant, got stuff you can sit down and chin stroke at and other stuff that's quite dancey. Favourite track of theirs would be this:
