While other acts usual top their press bio with an endless list of co-signers, residencies, record labels, DJ gigs and radio stations, Kryptic Minds deliberately put emphasis on exactly what they actually do: Deep dupstep with a deft understanding of the tensions and contradictions buried within it. While other producers try to play on a broad variety of mood, tempos and directions, Kryptic Minds play with details, zooming in on edgy 140bpm half-step. Coming from a drum’n’bass background, Si and Leon formed Kryptic Minds over ten years ago when Si released underground anthem ‘The Truth’. After a number of releases on drum’n’bass labels, the two founded their very own imprint Defcom Records on which they’ve released a total of 27 singles as well as their debut album Lost All Faith.
A couple of years later, Kryptic Minds set up Osiris Music UK to release a wide range of music and in 2008 they finally returned to dubstep following creative work with Youngsta and Loefah. As the flagship artists on Loefah DMZ’s label Swamp 81, their 12”s and album One of Us continues dubstep’s tradition for stone-cold halfstep, flying against the dancefloor’s natural urges for momentum and release, carrying listeners into an edgy otherworld. 2011 has seen their album Can’t Sleep. Their label Osiris flourishes, with new releases on the horizon that, just like Si and Leon’s music, are essential output for any fan of sub aquatic emotive dubstep. A close look at the track-list of their exclusive mix for Electronic Beats does not only give away some critical information on their label’s future but also an idea of the probably exclusive material from sessions to their upcoming album.

I would like to take a second and express my utter devotion for Kryptic Minds!
Can't Sleep is one of the best records of the year! and Time Flys is an awesome single!
These guys really bring something special back to the sound, it has a very mystical charm.

ps, thanx bloodstream as always, killer uploads, you really make this site worth visiting on the regular!

Yes! Talisman is huge. Currently listening to their recent Fact Mix. That remix of Distance's Beyond is special.

Finally got around to ordering Can't Sleep. Ended up just getting it on CD though so I had money to obtain a legal copy of Sully's Carrier and Objekt #1

Okay..about that KM tune with the vocal "We actually experience fantastic precision, always. But we are threatened by the now so we jump to the past or the future." Few pages back some1 said it was 'just after sunset' o.O but it's clearly not xD Any updates on it? Haven't heard it in a long time, but some1 asked about it on Yunx's facebook page, so..yeah :] ez
