BASSIC kicks off 2012 with a proper night of sounds from the residents. Expect to hear anything and everything on this night from classic tunes to exclusive and unreleased dubs. We'll be digging back in all our crates to pull out those rare gems we so much love to hear on the big system too! So make your way down to the Good Life and get to know the faces behind Boston's longest running and premier "dubstep, future dub, & bass heavy" night! Here's a little info to get you started.
Damian Silva
Damian has been collecting beats and throwing shows for almost a decade so expect the unexpected ranging from whats new, fresh, & funky, to classic gems that you didn't know existed. He's also one of the founding members of BASSIC and has been there since the beginning back 2007.
Scotch1
Scotch1 grew up on mix tapes ranging from Dj Hype to DJ Dan. He began playing records in 1998, and has since played shows from Boston to Bali, with countless venues and parties in between. His main rule when playing: crowd control. From low-profile mood setters, to in your face smashers, Scotch1 can keep any dance floor filled.

AxH (Tuba, Sturdy)
AxH (formerly Grizzly) has been dedicated to bass music and DJ-ing for over a decade. Based in Boston, MA, AxH got his start as Prodigal Son, producing Ragga Jungle that received praise and plays all over the world. He has been releasing music digitally and on wax since 2004, and has played coast to coast in North America, supporting his releases. 2008 saw AxH perform in Kiev, Ukraine, a set that people are still talking about. He has become a prolific producer as he's honed his deep, dark, and heavy style. His début Dubstep album is due out on Brooklyn based TUBA Records this autumn. ***AxH will be playing an all original set of his own productions don't sleep!

C Dubz (La Folia)
The other founding member of BASSIC, C Dubz has been bringing serious business behind the ones and twos. He's been known for his all vinyl sets, and cutting dubplates from lesser known artists, and he knows the importance behind high quality sound.
