Of course it's entirely subjective. However, how many hours did you work to get that £30 to spend on the record? For some people it could be 8 hours, for others it could be 30 minutes. If you think that's worth it, then that's worth it. It's your money after all. And I'm not saying this as someone who's never paid a rather large sum of money for old records. I don't even want to say how much I paid for a copy of Anti War Dub.
But I think that people seem more happy to part with money these days then they used to. I mean, in this case, the supply had barely even dried up and secondary market prices already rocketed to 600% of the original price. That's what's silly about it.
It's even sillier now that I've just bagged one for only £4.99.
Yeah missed out again. Turns out favouriting a label on surus doesn't give you email updates when they update stock, and I rely on email at work when I can't get a sneaky 5 minutes on here. Obviously just not meant to be.
whoa whoa whoa, im fairly sure there is some stock available to other record shops, like chemical, same with the last press - It sold out on Surus first, then went up on the other website. Keep your eye on Chemical, sure it will be friday shipping stock soon.

I'm not panicky, i'm not acting like it's the end of the world. It's just disappointing when I've had one order fail and missed the re-stock which from mala's wording in his earlier post here seems like the last one, could be wrong. I've got 4 swamp releases coming tomorrow so I'm not exactly devoid of listening material like

Hahaha twas just trollin' ... in reality my Surus order the 1st time (over xmas) never arrived and so i lost out.... managed to get a copy today but it means mine's already cost me approx £15 before it's even been delivered.
