Just in case anyone has recovered from their BSL002 EP release party last month, BASAL LABEL heads have just got back from their tour of Peru and are back for more. Now firmly established in the TERRA family, ANY SHAPE present a truly global sound, combining east and west, traditional and modern, blending BASAL's finest dubplates with a special selection of their current favourite cuts.

SAMRAI
A veteran UK DJ who has played alongside some of the biggest names in the London Scene and is now settled in Barcelona where he has established BUD PETS late night dubbed out soirees and parties. With a refined and diverse taste in bass music, whether it be jungle/DnB like his great set at our opening night, deep, dank dubstep or whatever else he chooses, we're looking forward to what he has in store (which apparently may or may not include novelty outfits, romanti-step and music inspired by Margaret Thatcher). When he isn't DJing, SAMRAI pursues his other interests of naked calender shoots, research chemicals, dominatrixes (or dominatri to be hypercorrective about it) and pizza. SAMRAI continues to deny that he is BURIAL.
DJ FACE TIC
One of the biggest names in Barcelona's bass scene for a good reason, not only a skillful DJ with a bag of bass genres that have been destroying dancefloors for over a decade, but a frenetic storm of hyperactive showmanship, making his shows some of the most energetic and dangerous events around. As one half of the audio visual experience that is THE ITCHY AND SCRATCHY SHOW and with his independent DJ project, FACE TIC has played in some of the biggest and best clubs in the world with acts such as Jurassic 5, J-Roc, Roots Manuva. Now settled in BCN, FACE TIC has dropped subsonic terror at APOLO, SIDECAR and RAZMATAZZ's ILOVEDUBSTEP. Currently presenting his own bi monthly global bass fiesta SABROSO, we're pretty damn excited that one of the busiest and biggest names in town has made time to get intimate with TERRA.
