Sounds like Task says Johnny Cash in the show. Didn't realise he got on a countrystep vibe towards the end of his career.

e: yeah I think it's John E Cash - Evil (Bonus)

It'll def be him then. My grime knowledge is fairly limited so I've not heard of him but the track could well be classified as instrumental grime. Tell me if you know the name and I'll update the tracklist :4:

EDIT: just saw you posted that track. Think it might be the original Evil rather than the bonus based on Youtube. Big ups on the track ID anyway!

Sample aint from Wu Tang by the way, it's The Iron Monkey from 1977. RZA sampled it tho http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076822/

Yeah, I realised this a few days back when I was doing some detective work to find out the track's name -e-
It's a far longer sample in this than in that Wu-Tang intro. I just put Wu-Tang sample as it makes it more easily identifiable to anyone listening as it sounds just like the stuff RZA samples. I admit it might confuse things a bit with Loefah's 'It's Yours' though especially as it may be him on the buttons for this, maybe I'll change it.

Discovered the name of a D1 dub on the b2b Loefah, made amendment to the tracklist on the previous page in bold for anyone interested. No it's not the first track unfortunately.

I thought it was a Mala tune but on listening back Task even says it's by Loefah
I've updated the tracklist on the previous page to account for this.

Younx used to play shit loads of D1 back in thr day... anyone got names? Did much of his early output stay as pure dubs in yunx's bag? I know he's had a couple of Eps and such but his early stuff was incredible, none of this new nonsense he's putting out on DubPolice.

D1 tunes I can remember Yunx playing:

Enigma - 03/04 2-step dub. Still gets played regularly in his old skl sets. So old that I doubt it'll even be given away at this point
Veto - tribal sounding dub
Deaf - kind of atonal, creepy sounding dub
Boiler - given away as a freebie
Crack Bong (Loefah Remix) - very much still a dub
Degrees - released
Higher State - still a dub
Steam Roller - released
I Believe - released
Cocaine - released
Firin' Blanks - released
Foundation - released
Greazy - released

And at least a dozen more I don't know the name of. For the top three I think I've done tracklists with them all in so search which mixes they're in if you wanna hear em.

ahh i love this one, the drop after the breakdown is sick. I think it's called 'movements', i remember him playing it in one of his old school sets. it's in his fwd live mix from 2004 as well.

I think my favourite youngsta D1 dub is sub zero

I was so happy when it got released on that 116 and rising compilation but it sounds like it was mastered terribly. dunno if this is the case for everyone else

The copy that is in one of the D1 freebies packs sounds ok if I remember correctly. That and especially Boiler were the gems out of that sweet selection he gave away.
