That must be it, there is a rubbish van parked up when sherlock jumps. Watson runs to check the body and gets knocked down giving the van enough time to get away. I think Sherlock is genuinely shitting himself when he first gets on the roof and realizes there is a bus in the way.

Convinced some people to go to the Outlook party and checked my Bank balance for the first time in a fortnight and Im actually not broke like I thought i was and its only a week till pay day :h:
