just out of curiosity, why not reach out to producers via ASCAP/SESAC etc? lord knows there's a lot of dubsteppers with traditional industry contacts...

very skeptical and to anyone else is who wants to send them something just to see but you're afraid, why not take a minute and a half clip of all your tunes and throw in something saying "this is a demo" and add some short breaks of silence or something so you're not getting ripped off but you can still see what this is about?

ah yes of course, how could i forget to mention to make it that lovely 128 qualitysunny_b_uk wrote:mikeyp wrote:very skeptical and to anyone else is who wants to send them something just to see but you're afraid, why not take a minute and a half clip of all your tunes and throw in something saying "this is a demo" and add some short breaks of silence or something so you're not getting ripped off but you can still see what this is about?that was exactly what i was thinkin of doing, im putting something together full of 128kbps goodness and might add random changes to the next beat and send it as a mix just to see what they think of my songs. im sceptical myself but i would definitely collaborate if there's actually a fair contract that is mutually benefiting.

Hey all, there's no deadline per se, but there have been a lot of really strong submissions and I don't think we'll be able to collaborate with everyone. So if you want to be included in this initial round of collaborations, please get your submissions in asap, no later than tomorrow (Wednesday).daeMTHAFKNkim wrote:And is there a specific deadline when you will be not accepting demos anymore?

Hi again,
An urgent song request came up so we won't be able to make our decisions until next week. I guess this extends the "deadline" through the weekend.
Cheers,
