Abletons Sampler - equivalent in Logic & 808

Post by deadcell » Tue Jan 17, 2012 12:15 pm

I was just wondering about abletons sampler - I like the ide of playing the sample in and out and repeating cycles etc, is this possible in logics EXS24? I watched my friend using it to loop play a snare in and out for nice effect, and i know you can use 808 cycle for sub but I wouldnt know how to do that in logic. or am I going to have to get kontakt or something if i want to do that?

any help appreciated :4:

You can definitely do it. In the 'sample' tab of sampler. There's two sections: sustain mode and release mode. They're different ways that you can wavecycle samples. Just mess with them and you'll get the rest
