That's just your standard collapsing wave function, coupled with Einstein's "spooky action at a distance". ;)

its amazing how little we know about what we are made of

philadelphia experiment was twisted.
they were testing cloaking around naval ships by attempting to warp space and time around the ship to hide it. they didnt know what they were doing.

apparently it was spotted allover north american coasts at the same time of day, and when it came back to the test site the crew were either missing or half embedded into the ship.

nah the Philadelphia Experiment never actually happened - read the Wiki, there was only one crew member of that ship that claimed any experiment happened, and he was nowhere near the ship at the time...all a big urban myth. ;)

And yea, collapsing wave function, spooky action at a distance, wave/particle duality & the uncertainty principle are all pretty astonishing concepts, esp when you put them in a metaphysical context. Worth reading a couple of pop. science books on quantum physics if you can be arsed...

Yeah, but nothing we have is close to as powerful as the LHC @ CERN.

Just straight amazing.

funny what you find with the search function... i work at CERN, on one of the experiments that will use the LHC to look for undiscovered physics. unfortunately, it ain't gonna turn on til next year - first collisions will happen in july 2008 or so. which is a good thing as far as i'm concerned, because we're not gonna be ready this year...

and what if our universe was an experimetn of someone in another bigger universe thinking : how the fuck our universe was created?? lets try to mage a smaller one!!!! and hop!! voila our universe!! that would be fun!!
its something which might be neverending, and maybe the key to read all of this stuff is exactly iinside each one of us!!! ehehe who knows!!
and luke was saying, funny how few we know about that stuff, but probably there is someone around the world who knows this stuff, and make all of us inside a strange reality to be able to use our energy... alittle bit like in matrix indeed!!
anyway really interesting subject!
glad to find out this stuff on a dubstep forum!
