As said above Yunx is and certainly then was primarily a DJ. Earliest dungeon track I've heard is SP:MC - Trust Nobody. Think KM are often credited with spawning it because they came shortly after with about half a dozen dungeon tracks that got a lot of (well deserved) hype.
Agreed. Good points.

How did he incorporate it then? He's admitted his drums were fully inspired by those of Tes La Rok, and his synths and bass don't sound very hip hop. Surely you don't just mean the vocal samples from American rap before drops, right? Matty G's got him beat on that...

Okay, can I recede my argument?
I know that doesn't happen very much on DSF, but I'm gonna go ahead and do it. Fine, he wasn the first. I was aware of those others artists, but I didn't really think about it.
Also, I know that Youngsta is a DJ (@ the people who were telling me off for claiming Youngsta to be an artist), but I more meant that he is/was one of the first dungeon sound pushers in the scene, if I'm not wrong. Sorry for the weird phrasing

I'm afraid not. Doing so will result in an immediate ban. A state of permanent argument must be maintained. That is what DSF and this thread especially are for.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.
Also, hot cross buns.

yea the mods arent big fans of people who have opinions on dubstep, so just be careful, you might get away with it this time.
