Australia, how has it taken you over 100 years to realise that maybe institutionalised racism shouldn't be a part of the national constitution? Do you really need a referendum on it, it's clearly not acceptable in any way, shape or form! Fucking backwards politics...

"Section 25 of the constitution recognises that states can disqualify people, such as Aborigines, from voting. Section 51 says federal parliament can make laws based upon a person's race. Both were put in the constitution in 1901 to prevent certain races from living in areas reserved for white people or from taking up certain occupations."

Turns out the other door that never gets used leads to the Boiler room and the noise is coming from some massive pipe. Using my technical knowledge of boilers (more precisley industrial boilers) I then hit the pipe in diffrent spots with a heavy object.
I didnt stop the sound and now I have to listen to it all over again for another 8 hours :u:
Sure it was just Thom Yorke trying to mix?!?!

"They" "took down" Megaupload.
This has genuinely pissed me off.

The internet is now 75% less useful to me.

What baffles me most about it is that it's actually going to have to go to a referendum, it shouldn't need to be open for debate, it's simply not acceptable

I wonder what the split of voting will come out like? I mean, you'd expect it to go through without any fuss, but it could be an interesting indication of how much genuine racism is still hanging around if even 5% disagree.

it definetly wont be a clean sweep, but in saying that, its not like the majority of Australia is white anymore.

Just got my knuckles rapped by a senior manager in another business unit - apparently making Apprentice jokes when there are redundancies happening is not the right thing to do.
