out to everyone as always! madness!

sorry if people had issues with the bouncers, they're actually a lot better than any of the security in the rest of brighton, its important to remember they own a share of the club and the volks has a difficult time from the boydem as its pretty much the only underground focused club in brighton and they are constantly threatened with licence removal, if you approaach them on a level they're all proper safe people with a real passion for the sound.

yeh the security at the Volks are all safe, better if u know them a little bit though.

gotta be the downfall fo grime people not turning up for stuff, read an interview with Wiley were he said that he thinks its held his career back a lot, yet he still does it?!?!?

gotta be an ego thing i guess, no one can be that lazy!

Aba Shanti didn't actually set up their rig for their last Brighton gig until the doors had been opened for two and a half hours. Was worth it though

Never bother booking tickets for Kool Keith either cause from what I can gather he never turns up.

Ok, but maybe yesterday was an anomaly cos I was treated really shitly by them basically. I was not once rude to them, I had an ID stating I was 19, about 8 adults who they knew were to do with the scene come out and ask them to let me in, and they still wouldn't. I explained to them I actually had no where else at all to go and I had come all the way to London for it, and they treated me like total shit with no sympathy at all. So thats why I've been so bitter about it, but I can empathise with the license removal problem, and its probably fair enough to say that I should just shut up about it as they were actually completely right not to let me in legally but they had no better knowledge of that. The situation was made a lot nicer though for me as loads of people came out and spoke to me while I was sitting out there.

I was pissed off but the incident didn't tarnish the night AT ALL for me as it was fucking awesome when I did get in and I had a top night. So moan over for me. Sorry about that, gettin it off my chest... And I don't mean to bring anything negative about the night as it was big :D

Ooopsy... Sorry if there was too much bass.. Got slightly worse for wares and couldn't really work out what was going on, then ended up on the beach well before the end and kinda got distracted/forgot about going back in because of some young lady. In my defense I did try and keep things on track sound wise, think a major problem in there is that the tops aren't high enough to project the sound over the crowd, and alot of the high frequencies don't make it through to the back, so at the front it can be top heavy whilst at the back it can seem like there's not enough...
