He has a point though, it is horribly written. Try saying it out loud. Usually it wouldn't be a big deal but given the thread and what he started the sentence with...

Don't see what's so bad about the thread, most people with sense dig the idea, myself included. Just because people try to derail it with negativity and "omg this fred"

posts doesn;t mean I can't and won't roll with the idea I GUARANTEE if one of the more expierenced producers had thought of this idea the thread would be getting masses of praise but that's how the scene works.
