Subloaded...

Post by the wiggle baron » Sun Jun 17, 2007 9:18 am

Right, havent got the time/mental capability yet to write a full blown run down of the evening, suffice to say "Large". Very large.

Out to Thinking, Fid (still not sure if thats right!), boomnoise, poax ( ), komonazmuk, N-type, that blonde guy from manchester and everyone else I spoke to/scared the shit out of with my innebriated ramblings. Dunno how it happened to be honest, but I was battered :o

Anyhoo, huge sets all round (except for vex'd, who im sure still smacked it but I was too busy 'tactically' vomiting in the left hand toilet...) and looking forward to what subloaded VII has to offer

Boomnoise, I wanna see some photos :D

(Oh, and I still owe you a drink Diccon. My bad. <-- I'll have to sort that out next dmz...)

WOW what a good night. massive. i left at about 3 but had a amazing night.

really like the way clockwork had the blow up shapes on the ceiling for me its little things like that which set nights part and gives the place a propper rave feel.

i have to admit i spent a good deal of the night downstairs in the teachings in dub room which worked so well combined with upstairs.

every subloaded makes me proud to be a born and bread bristolian

:dubstep rave: :dubstep rave: :dubstep rave: :dubstep rave: :dubstep rave:

p.s

can anyone point me in the direction of any of the myspace for the people downstairs. there was some cds downstairs that i couldent afford on the night and would really like to get a copy off.

thank you.

Top night. That function one system sounded lush, made the dub room downstairs sound a bit distorted. It was unbelievably hot upstairs though i managed to find a place next to the floor fans so i didn't find it too bad. I think a lot of people were finding it tricky though, especially laterafter some energetic skanking..

I was wanting to flick between the two rooms 'cos i love Abashanti and the vibes downstairs were wicked, but everyone one who played upstairs smacked it and i couldn't leave.
Pinch played the fav's, youngsta was on brilliant form, vex'd really were next level (some outrageous new beats), Benga and N-type got everybody bouncing, looked like they were loving it! Joker and blazey really pulled it out at the end to finish things off with some top grimey low-end action.

Out to pinch, boomnoise, peverelist, and especially komonazmuk who helped me back up off the slippery floor, minus spilled drink, and then gave me one of his red stripes. You're a true gent!

What is the difference between Subloaded and Dubloaded? Always wanted to ask that one. are these clubs monthly or what.

Plus why do some clubs sell beer in cans. Does it work out cheaper for the punters, or bigger profit margins...?

Dubloaded = monthly at Native (capacity 300ish), 1 or 2 headliners ususally

Subloaded = usually twice a year, much bigger party, huge headliners

beer in cans is just simpler init. No taps to mess about with, no changing barrels, just filling fridges with beers and then selling them. Prob less spillages too.

seem to recall wicked sets from everyone but it's all a kind of blur - big up the mash up crew! youngsta, benga and n-type brought it as standard, plus glad i finally got see joker after bein thwarted twice at JMEs birthday and the house party

out to braiden - on marathon travel business!, boomnoise - sorry for not lettin you finish ya sentences, poax, benga and walshy
