Producing on a single monitor?
I have M-Audio AV 40's and the right speaker stopped working one day. I don't have the money to cough up a new internal amp at the moment, so I was wondering if I would be fine producing off the single monitor for a while (minus panning of course)?

Re: Producing on a single monitor?
As long as you've got some cans to check whats happening in stereo then you'll be fine.
Re: Producing on a single monitor?
definitely want to route the output as a mono-mix tho, rather than just one channel in an L/R pair. even if you have everything panned C on your mixer, there are still patches, effects, and samples that might be stereo. at least you will be able to spot phase issues across the stereo image from the start

I have the same monitors! But mine both work fine lol. Make sure you put something on the master to make it mono.
