Props to DSF'er Komanderkin and his awesome site Bedroomproducersblog.com for this one: if someone had no samples whatsoever and wanted a good all around basic pack to start making tunes, this is as good as any I've seen in a while. Drums, strings, basses, pads, yadda yadda. All are royalty-free too.

To begin with, let me just say again how glad I am that we have folks like Komanderkin around here - his bedroomproducersblog is the best blog that I've found of its kind, bar none.



Recently posted on BPB: a collection of atmospheric/pad type samples from frequent freebie provider Mr. TheBigMan available in Kontakt, Refill, and plain ol' .WAV formats. Some of them are noisy, some of them are bizarre, and many of them are very usable.
