Big thanks to everyone who's voted Dubliminal as best new label.
We didn't expect to get this many nominations. Really glad you're feeling the vinyl and digital releases we put out.
We've put JazzyJazzy's lovely Dubliminal track "The Heron" in the Dubstepforum/JunoDownload free track bundle as our way of saying thank you for the nominations

Thanks man. Big up JazzyJazzy though really!
I've not been booked for This is Dubstep, so I hope I'm not on the flyer.
You might be thinking of Compa - an entirely different skinny white boy who plays lots of dubplates

That is genius.
You played a great set on G.D the week before myself. I was glued.

So pleasantly surprised at being nominated, and to be competing in third place with the likes of GetDarker, Boiler Room, xlr8r and Fact was something we could never have expected: huge respect and appreciation to anyone and everyone who nominated/voted for us.
Nominations in general look really healthy all round this year, will be interesting to see who comes out on top in each category.

Pretty disappointed Mala and Boddika are still beating Phaeleh. I don't think Mala released enough this year to claim that title and Boddika isn't even dubstep, so Phaeleh is the real winner in my eyes.

Phaeleh in my eyes is the perfect producer he has dungeon deep and his own special style, no one out there like him imo.

Shame Distance has so few votes...
Boddika shouldn't even be on there.

To be honest I thought Can't Sleep was boring as hell, and while I love Distance dearly I didn't think the Mean Streak EP was anything special. VIVEK would be my second choice after Phaeleh, he showed more variety with Fally Ranking, Sirens, Spread Love and Soundman than KM or Distance did this year IMO.

my fave 2011
pommie tracks (by Biome & Seven) didn't make the cut
and my faves amongst nominations (
Roteks &
Music Deep Inside) are bringing up the rear...

imo SBTRKT's is the best album on there but it's not really a ds album

Hours left now. So close in a few categories! Look at best remix for example.
