Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
So can you carry on playing once the main questline is finished, like you could in oblivion?

Dragons never stop coming.pikeymobile wrote:Do dragons still attack you once you've completed the main quest? Been binning it off just in case anything significant changes in the game world. I'm level 50, did the main quest up until the Thalmor Embassy mission and that's it.
You can carry on regardless, in fact the game will keep spawning small side quests.JBoy wrote:So can you carry on playing once the main questline is finished, like you could in oblivion?
Some people you meet will keep giving you quests.
Enchanting something from another town, killing someone, picking up something for someone, etc.

I like my Glass War Mace (I think I stuck paralyze and cold on it), not too keen on my Dragonscale armour. Preferred the look of the Glass armour.Electric_Head wrote:you sir, have a lot of fun ahead of you.Riddles wrote:ive done enough up to the point where ive had them all shout at me and i killed the first named dragon with whatshername
I love my Dragon Bone Armour, with an enchanted Glass War hammer.
Killing machine
With slow-mo on top of that.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
the dragon bone armor looks bad-ass
also once you`re up to legendary smithing, everything is great

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Had this like 2 weeks and don't even think I've started the main quest, think I basically suck and are not made for RPGs.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm on 170 hours and am finally bored of it. Probably gonna start it again as an elf or something in the coming weeks. Best game I've played in a long, long time.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

potential ideas for the next elder scrolls? valenwood? hammerfel?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hammerfell was covered in the elder scrolls II I believe. Valenwood with the giant tree things would be amazing.jigglypuff wrote:potential ideas for the next elder scrolls? valenwood? hammerfel?

I havent played any of the others tbh, is it worth going back and playing oblivion after experiencing skyrim?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yup, totally different games. Morrowind resembles Oblivion, Arena is a dungeon crawler and Daggerfall has a map 99% bigger than morrowind's but its landscape is randomly generated.unwind wrote:This.Hircine wrote:Hammerfell was covered in the elder scrolls II I believe. Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The levelling system in oblivion is fucking ridiculous mind, if you spend too much time jumping about you can ruin your whole character.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
They shoud re-make morrowind as it was, but with better combat and graphics, that's all.

I`d do it anywayjigglypuff wrote:finally! does it fix the lag issue? after seeing my flatmate play skyrim on his high end PC I think for future elder scrolls will have to invest in a kick ass gaming PCgrillis wrote:new update for ps3 available
I never had an issue with this on PC at Ultra high settings.
I never even bothered installing updates, it`s not like it was going to improve gameplay.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Why do I suck so hard?
Picked a High Elf because I was high, seemed appropriate. Only just onto the 2nd dragon with whatshername, but I think I'm going about this totally wrong.
Any recommended gear/apparel I should be rocking for this character? My magic skills are weak bro.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
What level are you now? Might be worth doing a few sidequests/random dungeons to level up a bit first if you're finding it a bit tough. Stay away from any camps with magic users though, they're hard. Might be worth investing in some smithing to get your light armour up, and also putting some points into light armour if you're working on getting your magic better.
