Tracklist:
Double Helix - Supreme Architecture
Double Helix - LDN
Amen Ra - Essence Investigation
No Fixed Abode - Indian Street Slang
This EP is lead by two tracks from beat technician Double Helix, who delivers two quite different tributes to jungle. ‘Supreme Architecture’, with its celestial pads and dense drums, sees an unwitting subject questioning his own existence. ‘LDN’ is dark and deadly, imagining if Photek and the rest of the Metalheadz camp had attended early Forward>> raves at Velvet Rooms. On the flip, Amen Ra continues the jungle infiltration with ‘Essence Investigation’, a choppy, warm excursion that – with it’s child giggling samples – suggests a return to earlier, more innocent times. Finally No Fixed Abode drops a unique bass experiment in ‘Indian Street Slang’, sounding like it was unearthed in the backstreets of Mumbai.
20/02/2012 according to Blackdown.
I'm well hyped for this. 'Indian Street Slang' is unbelievable! Haven't heard the others but I hope one of them is the jungley tune towards the end of their Concepto mix!

not even one post of love for lhf?
kinda sad considering this thread would be 20 pages of hate if i'd mentioned he-who-shall-not-be-named.

Soundcloud
I've been waiting for Indian Street Slang for ages! These guys make some of the best tunes out there, they never fail to amaze me with their percussion and unique samples. Nothing but love for this crew. Still spinning EP1 & EP2 on a regular basis.
Stoked for the album too, doesn't really even matter what's on it (although I've got a bunch of favourites I hope some of which will end up there. Simple Tings

) . Big up Dusk & Blackdown for getting their music out there!

always up for more LHF. this is the music people should be remembering in years to come, when they think of a certain era in dubstep.
