Think he meant that he'd only used FL Studio, so couldn't comment on how workflow might be different in other DAWs.
lol i know, i think he's only used the pattern view on fl studio by the sounds of it.
dougriley - its just a standard sequencer view, nothing to do with patterns. you just arrange the audio from left to right in chronological order, each sound usually has a seperate track. its not overwhelming when you see how it works.

That's all down to preference really personally I think reasons workflow is great everything is open for you to see and combinations are great for organization and automation
Hmmm. I really couldn't judge. I personally love logics workflow. It's legendary for being amazing. I agree.
It has everything right there for you, you don't have to bend over backwards to do some stuff which I've experienced when using other DAWs like Ableton...ugh I hate switching between the two views in Ableton

This is what turned me off of ableton, I trieonline some lite version I have lying around and just the entire thing seemed so strenuous compared to reason I just turned the bitch off
6 is definitely a big improvement over 5. Now that it works with audio easier its pretty much perfect.
I've tried others (Logic and Albeton demos), just found that i worked easier and faster within reason after getting used to it.
and I dont feel restricted by not being able to use external vsts.
