Dyssomnia - Innerverse (Deep/Dark)

Post by Dyssomnia » Sat Jan 28, 2012 1:05 pm

Easy all, it's been a long time!
I'd love some good and helpful feedback on a song I made recently!
Soundcloud
It's my first solo track ever, I'm normally more a collab guy haha.
Thanks in advance and ofcourse I'll give feedback to your song as well ;)

Your stuff is great. I love the dark feeling and the futuristic alien bass lines too! how did you make them?
Just out of curiosity.

Thanks a lot mate, really appreciate it :)
In this song, I used a FM osc in Thor and just twisted the FM knob until I found a point where the sound would change very fast. I put it slightly above that point, then put enveloppes on it to make it go towards that switching point and back. Then ofcourse I filtered it, comb - filters, distortions etc and added a lot of LFO's, phasers, unisons etc. I think using that kind of 'switching points' is a great way to come up with some original stuffs :)
