I don't see a holding post for week 2? It goes 1, 3 then 4?

Gave feedback @ soundcloud and started to follow everyone so it gets easier to catch up with the tracks. If I had to pick a tune of the week (that is not mine hahahah) it would be jrisreal's. Good job everyone.

It's where the original post is o_o . Then when everyone turns their song in I'm going to put week 3 up top and exchange it with week 2 results. Then the same with week 4.

Interested to hear it. I haven't started yet and unfortunately I have a very short window of time to do it this week, so I'll have to work quickly or just throw in the towel this week (basically 2 hours on Monday is it).

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Listening to all your tracks was fun.

Just thought I'd mention about my track:
1) The annoying squeals and what not were intentional, I tried to make the track sound ridiculous and "evil" (or just "ridiculously evil"), much like the show Courage the Cowardly Dog was. (I'm using "evil" loosely here.)
2) I made this song as an inside joke to play at a party I'm doing in a few weeks, so it isn't anything serious. Regardless, huge thanks for the tips and what not, I'll spruce it up a bit to play out.

Can't wait for next week!

Is this still open? I'd love to do this.

I'm using the vocals almost more as pads and atmospheres rather than your typical vocals/singing.

They're highly processed, and so far you can't actually discern any words.

I was inspired to do a track like Afterlife (Kryptic Minds Remix) by Lung, but then it started sounding wayyyy too happy and light, so now I'm taking it more in the direction of something like Drowned City by Dark Sky. :W:

I started it yesterday, I spent most of my time in the drums, they sound very simple but a LOT of work went into sculpting them

Just finished arrangement, really different for what i normally go for.Spent most the time trying to get acapella in time, kept the bass and beats well simple.Used a completely different technique for the bass,i used logic test tone plugin for sub and used sends to make the mid growl,i'm pretty chuffed it has come out like it has just hope you all give it a thumbs up.

What do you mean you used sends to make the mid growl? How would you go about that...?
