I'd love to have Velodrome, such a sick track.

whoa. mind blown.... no way do i believe this guy is responsible for "everything but the drums" though, i mean listen to his dinky little synth patches and then listen to that ridiculous gated synth in natalia's song- not the same creator, no way. when i first heard that shit on the burial/kode9 mix i acutally shed a tear. and zomby is definitely responsible for the piano. i'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this eventually

So i thought about this Reark/Natalias song thing some more. It seems strange that the chick that sang the actual song that was sampled, with lawyer power, isnt credited for anything (to my knowledge) on the song. But this guy Reark comes out the shadows and has a spot on the 4ad page with Zomby from some angry emails and phone calls. Graphics and all. Dug in threads back pages too. Read almost all of the Zomby post for any other mentions and didnt see anything. Pretty sure he says his name though. Interesting stuff. From the internet beefs, to the youtube riff jackin', the multiple youtube channels ( with fake alias comments im pretty sure, ) the twitter tirades that vanish as soon as they post, im really wanting to know who this guy is hahaha, dude is kind of dramatic ,wow to much coffee at work. Perry mason mode.

I think if anything, Reark may have just cut the sample. There's no way from listening to his soundcloud that he did the drums or anything really substantial. The whole song is full of Zomby trademark sounds and techniques from the synth gate and rhythm to the UKG patterns to the coldness of it etc.

Why not? Zomby did it for test me for a reason, which was just a straight sample, with drums added and a sade vocal snippet. Reark wouldn't get co-producer credits on the 4AD site if he didn't actually do something substantial to it. Zomby said he wrote that tune for Burial lol and calls it a self-proclaimed masterpiece... the amount of BS spewing from this guy is unreal

Because he did add drums and vox to the song. If Reark cut up the sample, he'd get credit as that's a contribution. Why doesn't someone tweet it to Zomby? Listen to the track; it has the hallmarks of a Zomby production from the triplets and breakdown to the aesthetic and feel. I doubt Reark did anything big to it except find the sample, cut it, which Zomby then took and was forced to give credit for

Zomby wouldn't give this guy credit unless he really had to. Read more about him, he's a tunc who has ripped shit from people before without giving them any credit whatsoever.

Name an instance aside from the one famous youtube one? He may not be the friendliest person to have come onto DSF, but he seems like he values art enough to not steal a whole song. And if he did, don't you think he wouldn't have gotten ANY credit? And that still doesn't explain why it sounds like a Zomby song anyway

According to that guy on youtube Zomby just did the drums and the mixdown.

And I wouldn't say it sounds that much like a zomby song, I thought that was the point. When it first came out everyone thought it sounded like burial.

Regardless, It's still a beast of a tune.

I already chatted with him over soundcloud, apparently he did most of the tune except for the drums and mix, and Zomby just added those and called it his. After Reark proved to 4AD that he did most of the tune they gave him credit
