i voted nay...I only really like him in "Wild At Heart" & well thats about it. i decided to skip on "Bangkok Dangerous" cause I'm the type of guy that only watches the originals & wont watch remakes unless i get seduced into watchin em. I thought he was ok in "Lord Of War".

yeah thats a decent movie, not his best though.

His best performance is most definitely in Deadfall, never have I seen such insanely genius acting before in my life

Yeah true, it's all subjective, but Alan Rickman saying "Mr Takagi" is better than the entirety of some of Cage's films.

ye lets get it straight, i dont genuinely believe he's a great actor

but i take him with a pinch of salt and he's fucking hilarious to both laugh with and at

and Con Air isn't that great

The Rock and Face/Off are incredible tho

I agree in regard to The Rock, badman film, not too keen on Face Off though only because i'm a fan of John Woo's HK stuff so, in comparison....

Can't stand him. I did enjoy The Rock, Con-Air and Kick Ass though.

This was the perfect example of him being good enough in a fucking awesome film. He does get completely out-acted by a teenage girl, mind...

Well to be fair, the teenage girl part was a stupendously awesome role. And I did actually reasonably like his character for once.
