[New Tune] Tommy O. - 009A [Dark, Heavy, Bass]

Post by SignalRecon » Tue Jan 31, 2012 5:12 pm

Soundcloud

Hi guys! First new track of two that I'm working on at the moment! Feedback is greatly appreciated and all input that isn't "This whole section needs to go out, and add in a gun-cocking sound with a sample of a porn star moaning here" will be honestly considered.

Thanks guys!

I like it ... dark deep ... production sounds tight wiv da heavy bass ..

feedback : try some more variations wiv da bass ... have different layers or suthin'....tweak the synths and try vary the sounds a bit ...

have a look at mine ... appreciate the feedback on it ... cheers ...

That is a pretty gritty bass :) I think some samples of screams or a kidnapping would be sick.

i love the idea but i think its a bit too repetitive. this is a great track don't get me wrong i just think that you should messing around more with eqs and filters

Thank you very much, very constructive feedback, I was begining to think so as well, but I had not thought about playing around with the filters/eqs...I was thinking about adding in an new element at the midpoint in the main sections so that it doesnt get so stale.

I'm currently finishing the "b-side" (lol) of this right now, and I will jump back into this one with the feedback i get here after giving my ears a break from this tune with the other track.

Thanks!

Intro could do with maybe some more atmos and no bass, the beat is sick but later on some of the reverses just before the snare/clap sound a little bit off at some points have a look at them, in general bass is pretty sick liking this can go with this but definitely needs some more variation, maybe a sort of similar sound on the drop of every fourth bar pitched down with an envelope I reckon that'll sound cool, just imagining.
