sound quality in Ableton live while DJing

sometimes i feel that the quality is kinda damp and strange sounding out of ableton when i dj.... i route through dummy clips which sometimes i think could make a difference. has anyone had this concern?

1. What soundcard are you using?
2. What algorithm are you using to warp tracks (complex, beats, etc)

Ableton's sound engine is more than capable of producing high quality output. It's most likely a problem with either of these two things.

I solely use Ableton for production, DJ'ing and live gigs... no problems with sound quality.

Like mad ep said, i use it for everything and dont have any issues.

My soundcard like to drive my output hotter than id prefer so my major tweak is that my two channels i use for djing in ableton have there slider set at a max of -3db. Then i can actually use my gain on the mixer to bring my levels where i want them.

Watch the warp modes. sometimes i cant find one that will satisfy my need so ill be a little crazy/lazy and not warp the offending track but instead ill just drop it into the set with out warping. Work best at drumsless sections.
