wtf is a hater?

I don't understand how any producer or anyone who is remotely interested in the scene could not be even slightly pissed off about this

True as fuck, but definitely not applicable in this case. Led Zeppelin blatantly stole from the old Blues-men, but they didn't just take recordings and release them as their own.

the first minute and a half of bring it on home is a blantant copy of the original, right down to the style plant sings it in. but i know what you mean, they did switch it up bigtime after that and all the rest of the shit they stole, they didn't just out and out copy it, they took it and make it better/their own. wasn't just blues men they stole from, jake holmes - dazed and confused? it's funny how page tries to claim it was just plant robbing lyrics and he knew nothing about it. he'd stole that tune when he was in the yardbirds before plant was even on the scene!
