I haven't managed to get Soulfood Vol 1 out the cd player...trim is by far the most charismatic and interesting mc to come out of the uk for ages..flow, content, voice, everything.

soul food = album of the year so far.
But it's a grower - may not have all the impact first few listens.
2 was out yesterday / Friday 22.
Also rate the Kano mixtape.

Volume 2 - it ain't great is it? Man needs to write some more bars. I guess partly I had really high hopes after Vol. 1 especially when rumour was that it was gonna be even better. Still better than yer average. But I fear some Tunnel Vision-style watering down over the volumes. These grime boys, eh? If only some of them focused a bit more on putting out one *killer* album/mixtape rather than 5 decent ones....

Spot on^
I got each one the day they dropped and in my oppinion the 1st one was by far the best,
Soulfood vol2 lacks the beats the first one had on offer i mean how can you contend with a track like quincy! shheeeezus that was hot! but i see why mans are saying the bonus cd is better than the main because there are couple of tracks on there that hit you like vol1.
Definately worth getting tho but be warned you aint gona be bouncing off the walls like you did with vol1 Pure genius STILL!

Interesting that everyone seems to have different faves off vol. 1. For me, nothing can touch Liar Liar pt. 1, I've had that on repeat for weeks. Absolutely percy
