managed to bag a brand new rel t7 sub down cardiff earlier for £475, normally they retail at like £650. It's probably overkill for my b&w bookshelf speakers, but fuck it :w:

just some dm600 s3s, got them DIRT cheap on ebay 5-6 years ago and they're just the toughest fucking things ever, i've ragged the shit out of them. Used to have some obscenely powerful linn amp that was customised to be two power amps in one, used to match perfectly with them and would hammer out even the most speaker shattering of low frequencies like it was nothing, but that pretty much melted on one side, so now i've just got a rotel rb 971 power amp and a tag mclaren pre-amp. Sounds better than the majority of chunky monitors i've heard :w:

fuck off no way?~! you got the 60 series pre amp? i think we spoken about this before actually haha. yeah i got the 60i integrated bi-amped with 60p power into dm603's....aint seen anyone else with those tag amps ever haha... yeah u dun know anout the b&w's man, tough as fuckin nails, i rolled with these ones as a teenager, http://ii.alatest.com/product/full/4/8/B-W-DM110-0.jpg my dads from the 80's and until a blew them, they withstood some serious rinsage
big up the tag & b&w massive ha :Q:

yeah i think we have spoken bout this before aha
its the pa10 pre-amp, think its incredibly similar to the 60i (they look the same anyway), its just a standalone phono pre-amp. Monstrous bit of kit, must be about 15 years old now and has been punished through the years too. i love how you hear about all these people blowing up their krks, but i can run these b&ws at instant hearing damage levels with no distortion for fucking forever, usually the power amp is the first thing to go which is the case with the linn amp, but that died because I didn't turn it off post-party and left it running for like 2 more days in a poorly ventilated area of my room, huge faux pas on my account and i miss that amp dearly :(
after this i think the next step is a much better power amp, i think that'll make a much more noticable difference than new speakers seeing how insanely well these b&ws sounded with the linn amp :w:

Last night me and 2 other flatmates froze a female flatmates keys in one of those takeaway microwaveable containers. With my ingenuity, I used some game pieces so that the keys were frozen in the middle. Today I've had two voicemails, one from her small Irish friend swearing like nothing it's hilarious. I ain't responding to none of it, I think she's mad though haha
