Squitty bubbler def know what they are doing. I have been promoted by them before and are heads in the scene. Good guys. Jeebus this forum seriously is up its arse of late.
Couldn't agree more. Here they are offering to help people get recognized and have their shit featured on stuff, and they actually HATE on them for it?
They are doing a good thing. I'd rather hear a skrillex track on the TV, instead of a britney song.
Talk about taken-out-of-context. I was saying that the OP doesn't understand that 90% of this forum preferrs/makes the deeper side. Never did I say that brostep/skrillex is garbage or w/e...are you all forgetting I make alot of brostep?

EDIT: Apologies, though, if they're legit. They came off wrong, though. If you want a good response from this community, don't reference our music as "ear-punishingly dirty" or w/e.

I wasn't talking directly to you, I only quoted 'cus of depone's answer. My answer was more directed to the posts above yours ;)

it's far easier to sit on the interwebz and point fingers at "sellouts" than it is to work on tunes, get them out, hustle to get good distro and publishing, and work thru the industry.

so you know... there's that.

iv come across this webpage and company before when looking around on google a couple times. its legit and seems pretty good, il probably be sending them some of my music soon. i know that DSF sometimes gets some sendusyourdemos desperate labels to try rip you off and such.. but this is FREE to send in your music if you already have mastered songs. i really dont see what the problem is.

The problem is a buncha jealous haters, mob mentality, shitposting in general. The ironic thing is that my post (this one) is probably going to be the one to get deleted and I'll get scolded for calling that shit out, rather than the hater-posts getting deleted which is what should happen.

I don't think it's a bad thing that the forum is so aggressive. For one thing it's really funny, and for another it means that any dodgy labels who do come through (and there have been a few) get found out pretty fast and noone sends any Dubs to them.

For me, getting some earpunishingly dirty tune onto TV wouldn't tepresent success. If you want to make a living out of music then maybe it's a way to go, but really is that why you got into making tunes?

Not aimed at anyone in particular.

yeha! and just like skrillex or deadmau5, u can have your music and face all over mtv and maybe get rich and forget all the ones who helped you along the way. u dont need to be on tv or games to be recognized. if people like your mucis they will come see you play and if they dont they wont. simple as that
Dont get mad at the ignorant, educate them.

sorry, what?

1. This is a ridiculously helpful place for any aspiring new producer and most people are only "asses" when someone asks a question that could have easily been found somewhere else.
2. There are more Americans on the Production forum than there are Brits.
3. If anyone's "butt hurt" over anything, it's the fact that dubstep has exploded at all into a formulaic, aggressive, faddy genre where they live, whether America or the Uk.
4. Still, tbh theres hardly any of that here any more- I'd say the population of the production forum was 70-30 bro to deep.
5. Butt hurt is a horrible expression.

Agreed with everything except the bro-to-deep ratio. Feels like the majority here is deep, not bro...maybe I read it backwards.
