Skrillex is a gateway artist of the worst kind. He's a bad producer, a clusterfuck of mid-range and wobbles that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping SCREAMING WOOBLES! and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that Skrillex himself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

I honestly enjoy several Skrillex tunes. Kill me.

I enjoy a few as well, but I think for most people here including me its the effect he's had on the culture and perception of dubstep rather than the tunes themselves that's the problem.

I don't have a problem with him but I do thoroughly dislike his music + this thread and some previous skrillex threads contain this golden dsf sarcasm.
