just watched Dogtooth. Probably the weirdest and most isolated film I've seen, I don't really have an opinion on it

Anyone tuned into Film 4's Great Directors season? Lots of great films in it, too many to list.

Dazed and Confused, A History Of Violence and Network have probably been the most memorable films I've seen this last week.

Chronicle anyone?

Still in the cinema but I thought it was really good. Most chicks that have seen it hated it though.

True Grit (2010)

Not the Coen's best work but a great film nonetheless. Jeff Bridges was particularly good. Shades of The Dude at times.

the scene with the bear was the best bit.

Barton Fink would probably be my pick for best Coen film. I've yet to see A Serious Man.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

I thought Chronicle looked like garbage but thats just based on the trailer.

Watched the Redux version of Apocalypse Now this week.
Just never disappoints. What a legendary film.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning."

Oh and I also watched True Grit not too long ago. Really enjoyed that!
