this could be a big track. sounds solid and dangerous like a concrete wall across a motorway. i think theres a bit of work to be done on the drums maybe? some edits/variations or something. the bongo-y drums are a nice touch.
the mid range squelchy bass and the sub give it a real powerful suckerpunch quality

couple of suggestions tho...

take out the "riddim fulla culture yall", its way too overplayed its been in so many tracks.
also the "hey yo" female sample gets really annoying and doesnt really fit the track

maybe its the encoding rate but the track sounds quite muddy to me. not enough clarity and space between elements

i agree, the "Riddim fulla culta'" sample should go, the female vox aren't bad, but too much. i think they fit real nice, but are just overused a tad. can't speak much on the mix down cuz i'm on headphones at work, but the lay out it hot. nice work!

yeah ...

I still like that sample, but I'll kill it for something less played out. and I'll trim up the vox samples (they do sound kinda nice in the mix I just mad)

I'll get the final mix up in here ASAP

thanks for the honest feedback, very helpful

hmmm, the only thing i don't really care for is the vox...the sub could be heavier (not sure if this is the final mixdown or not), my subwoofer's hardly doing any work...solid tune tho 8)

thx for the feedback guys...

no this isn't the final mastered version, and I am aware that the vox is a bit campy, but it is a tune for the floor and if you mix out of it quick, it shouldn't get too old.

This has lots of variation which means the listener is kept interested. The bass is pretty warped - like an updated and bassier version of a 50's ray gun. This makes it interesting. I quite like the female vocal actually - maybe pops up a little too often, but I do like it. The 'culture' vocal should maybe go as others have said - it's not really 'paying its way'.

Looking forward to hearing the finished version....
