7-9 Crucifix Lane doesn't qualify as a major club, does it?southstar wrote:Best to stay away from the major clubs, they'll ask for ID even if you look 40.
I'd try not shaving for a couple of weeks before you go
And good point stopping tomorrow then...

i wouldnt say its a major club, i did have to show ID there iirc but they seemed well lax about security in general, smoking zoots inside was no big deal at all (maybe that was more to do with the night i went though)JensMadsen wrote:7-9 Crucifix Lane doesn't qualify as a major club, does it?southstar wrote:Best to stay away from the major clubs, they'll ask for ID even if you look 40.

Nah defo not major. Like somebody said, its not a ''pulling club''. Those places are more strict on security.particle-jim wrote:i wouldnt say its a major club, i did have to show ID there iirc but they seemed well lax about security in general, smoking zoots inside was no big deal at all (maybe that was more to do with the night i went though)JensMadsen wrote:7-9 Crucifix Lane doesn't qualify as a major club, does it?southstar wrote:Best to stay away from the major clubs, they'll ask for ID even if you look 40.

Remember the first time i went to Prague when i was 17, their form of ID'ing us was to ask "are you over 18?" Didn't fail to get into a single place the whole time i was there and i must have looked about 14

Re: Going to London in a week - Need some advice
I had an American customer who decided to bring his family over for a holiday while he came over for a work trip. He told us that they were staying at a swanky hotel in central london for a few days that the company was paying for and then after that they would be spending the rest of the trip staying at a hotel in Croydon.
Whole room just went silent. Took me a few minutes before I managed to mumble out "Ummmm....WHAT?!??"

Maybe I haven't been to the right places around Istedgade, but in my experience it's 95% he/she hookers trying to "score" you by being extremely annoying.Mehlovich wrote:JensMadsen wrote:Seems like a good night out to be honest - don't get those in Denmark.particle-jim wrote:i think i gave a lengthy description on here of my last visit there, man with a tv for a head, burlesque clown strippers, smoking a zoot inside a big grandfather clockclifford_- wrote:lol Jacks is grim, last time i went in there was well weird. strannnnge night!

A'int too hard getting in without id, just don't act a dick/be nervous at the door. have to do it weekly. only been turned away from cable so far.
EDIT: also bok bok is playing at the rhythm factory, if you are into that kinda shit. rhythm factory bouncers don't give a shit about anything really.

If I were you I'd take your passport anyway.
If you get ID'd, show them your passport. Bouncers are generally pretty stupid and can't work out how old you are from your birth date quick enough. I used this technique multiple times when I was 15-17 and it worked fine 80% of the time.
I've not had ID since I was about 18, and I've managed fine for 4 years by going to raves with my girlfriend who usually gets ID'd instead of me

Re: Going to London in a week - Need some advice
imo fabric will almost definitely id you mate, i've been asked every time i've been...you'll have more luck in a 'grimier' venue i reckon
also lulz to the croydon comments, lived there my whole life, it's like a bubble to me; people from outside think it's the most dire place on the planet but people who grew up there have a strange kind of affinity with it—moreso than a lot of other people to their hometowns in my experience
(sometimes i get emotional when my train pulls into west croydon (usually when drunk))
