Am having problem recording notes in my DAW

hello i did not want to start a new thread just on this but i can not find anything on the net to help me not even youtube
basicly i make tunes in FL studios but never had this problem before and for some reason i can't get it back to normal

basicly when i press the record button and play i press keys on my midi all plays but does not record ,some times it records one note but no more than that or its start to record late but no more than one note...

so when i press record and play basicly nothing records once i press the keys!

can someone help this is frustrating me and thanks.

is the track armed for recording?
even if you push record, if the track is not armed it won`t record the midi input

not sure what you mean but after i press record and play has like a 5 second countdown then i press the keys and nothing happens

has recorded before but a while ago...

have not made tunes in months but the last few days i can't get it working tryed clicking on everything.

Let me use Reaper as an example.
On each channel you have a arm for record button which sets the individual track you are playing midi notes on to be able to pickup the pressed midi notes.
If you don`t arm the track it will not register the midi notes.
Search for this function and check if it`s armed.
