Justice/Early Skrillex Electro Drums

Post by daftendirekt » Sat Feb 11, 2012 5:04 pm

Anyone familiar with how to create similar sounding drums? Or where to find the right samples for this style of electro drums? The two most prominent artists that have used this are Justice and Skrillex. Not talking about Skrillex's Brostep songs btw. Talking about some of his older electro house tracks. Here some examples of what im talking about.

Should be able to get there with a bit of distortion and some compression on a fairly ordinary sample.

It might be fun to make a pack of those.
