It really annoys me when they put the names of the actors above the pictures in the movie poster but in the wrong orderAllNightDayDream wrote:

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Well it was pretty evident exactly how the plot would unravel from about 15 mins in. And I've never seen any of the Planet of the Apes films before. Not terrible blockbuster fare though.

understanding things too quickly is a good way to not really understand things
Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel
just watched L'herisson / The Hedgehog last night. French film about a suicidal eleven year old and her relationships with those who live and work in the apartment building where she lives. Great watch, but possible contender for the 'saddest movie ever' thread.

I watch that film way too much. One of my top 10.Dub_freak wrote:Being john malkovich

Kaufman is one of the best writers around these days. Check out Adaptation next if you haven't. Kind of related. Probably Nic Cage's best work other than Raising Arizona and Wild At Heart.
Synechdoche, New York is the latest. Depressfest but insightful.
Watching Basketball Diaries again right now. Seriously underrated, definitely DiCaprios best work imo.

My favourite screenwriter around for sure. I love them all but Eternal Sunshine still tops it for me. I never bothered to watch Human Nature though as it wasn't supposed to be up to his usual standard.wormcode wrote:I watch that film way too much. One of my top 10.Dub_freak wrote:Being john malkovich

Lol, Depressfest doesn't really do it justice. I feel like a slightly different person after seeing that film, I'm not sure in a good way either.wormcode wrote:I watch that film way too much. One of my top 10.Dub_freak wrote:Being john malkovich
