Yeah I know man, I'd love an album too, just saying, with this method, it works with artists like Burial. I don't think I've ever listened to a Burial album and skipped a track anyway, so I'd be happy if he bought out an "album" in this format.joeki wrote:Yeah, I think I wrote that down a little bit wrong: not saying a studio album is better than a mixtape, by no means! I too would applaud said symphony, just wanted to say that the chances of a new album look even remoter now, despite new material.

try and imagine how much pressure he's under to deliver a full length album too, there's so much hype around him, i'm surprised he's even confident enough to release new music at all with how scathing his critics can be

If he has more tracks like the three on kindred, I dont think he should be worried at all!
Re: Burial - Kindred
This release is so solid it's sick.
Finally given it a full headphone listen, and just... wow... words can not describe...

Honestly I had stopped being excited about this, or didn't quite believe it would come out, but this delivers.

Epic and beautiful. Love how long this is too. It's practically half an LP! God those last chords in Kindred are gorgeous. So much of this EP is. How does he do it?
Re: Burial - Kindred
i've noticed that apart from Kindred the beat is always in the background, all the other elements are brought further forward. The beat in Loner is strange for Burial, really strange

Re: Burial - Kindred
He changed the whole beat game, he brought infinite emotional depth to underground dance music, now now he is fucking with the forms of tunes. That is how you become a legend. Ashtray Wasp is his masterpiece, and a game changer i think. Big up Bevan for everything!

You're doing it wrong Wolf...put it on and turn it up as loud as your system can go, run a cold shower, curl up in the fetal position at the base of the shower with just your socks on, now wank yourself off while crying.wolf89 wrote:I don't like it that much...
