I HATE FUN REVIEW: Solid release from St. Petersburg producer, Denizo, that caught us off guard.
Denizo and Shaded Records were only brought to our attention recently,
and this release entitled 'Shaded 02' is a perfect example of tight-knit production.
A 4 track EP it blends the modern ethics of dance music together to create a truly satisfying sound.
The Last Night is a snarling, dark techno with with Detroit style drum arrangements.
Distortions of the Night is a severed footwork track with haunting pads and wraithlike vocals.
New Crisis sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock score rearranged by tribal musicians.
The one to look out for though is Deadly Storm, with it's incredible percussion
and adrenalized vocals casts a sensation of being in an aboriginal festival a thousands of miles away.
