You're not dubstep.

All three are wicked tunes, but I struggle to come to terms with that the same person who made southern comfort made loner.

I just deleted all my 1535 friends from facebook so I could be more emotionally attached to 'Loner'.

If you have that many facebook friends you probably aren't very attached to them in the first place. Or you could be Jesus.

How come you're not liking it pedro? "Kindred" has mad midrange that would make plenty of tear-out producers jealous! :t:

Burial is done, way overrated, that's why Skrillex is winning awards and Burial isn't.

If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

But those copyists currently slicing and dicing R&B vocals into all manner of shapes above club-friendly garage beats fail to evoke anywhere near the same emotional responses, because they're far too prescriptive about what these voices are supposed to represent (or the feelings they're supposed to trigger - in the main, dancefloor euphoria). In stark contrast, it's the ongoing lack of explanation or justification within Burial's music that makes it such a compelling listen.
:Q: that's deep

Alright, bud. You don't like Burial. We hear you, loud and clear.

Has anyone read the article from The Quietus? It's pretty interesting.

Only listened to this EP today, very tempted to say it's his best output. I really like the tracks essentially being beat tapes in themselves. The drop outs and such give it a very rugged, unfinished feel but it simply sounds amazing so it's easily forgiven.
