Those fans are the reason Hyperdub and hell, Kode9 are relevant these days in the first place so he might as well show a bit more respect to them.
yeah, that seems to be a reasonable inference
also, hyperdub's output (without burial) is consistently one of the best in the game. ikonika, terror danjah, cooly g etc are all sick and doing more than enough to keep hyperdub 'relevant'

Hyperdub show on Rinse now ! Maybe we'll hear some info on the vinyl release ?

Curious to hear some new Hyperdub bits :h: they're starting off with something I think is a Hype Williams tune

Shit's up for preorder :corndance: :corndance: :corndance:
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

Listening to Kode9 on Rinse now.

All this hate on Kode9 is fucking stupid. Guy is an absolute badman. Still bringing forward thinking music both in his DJ sets, his productions and through his label. Simmer on the hate you know?

Saying Kode9 is nothing without Burial is completely unjustified.

how can people say that Burial is the reason that Hyperdub is relevant ?

As if Hyperdub isn't the label that released all those Kode9 releases and releases like Skeng, Need You/Squeeze My Lime, Mu5h and the list goes on ...

You don't need the internet to be your quality control if you can control it yourself.

Kode 9 is a badman. Even the releases I'm not feeling on Hyperdub I can appreciate as being forward thinking and different. Big up.

Ima be podcasting that rinse show soon!
forgot it was second tuesday today.

Happy V Day Yall
:U:

Also, FEELING the new Burial, it's the best thing this year thus far.
I really love the long song format, that record is gonna be a favorite for sure.
and It's really nice to see Street Halo was just a taste, Kindred is an entirely new direction.
pretty indescribable, it's difficult to describe the new Burial sound, but that's what I love most about it.

I meant that I think it took some serious intelligence to make that rhythm, to this day it still fascinates me. You know?

Too bad it doesn't take intelligence to post on a forum!
