Wouldn't be the first. Both the Addison Groove releases are lifted from something else.

So you're saying that jo and boddika are recycling shit from a decade ago ?fractal wrote:its on purpose! adult swim was the shit about a decade ago
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

I don't hate Skrillex, I hate his fans. He seems like a perfectly nice fellow.apmje wrote:True...but you always have Skrillexcomputerface wrote:but then we won't have anything to complain about!
And I did get a turntable yesterday, so no worries.

Re: Joy O & Boddika - Swims (Swamp 81)
Man, every single release from these two is just so good. Is it really possible to make tunes like theirs without hardware? Even Joy O's older stuff is next level, I really want to reach that standard but it seems a bit bleak when I just have fruity and a cracked massive... haha

Remember reading a naked lunch interview where he was like I get so many tunes that are jus a weak boddika... He just gets this raw sound from the 303 that you can't replicate....
IMO it's all bout how ur using what you got though.... Getting a 303 does not instantly make you boddika
