playing 3 at the moment, never played it before, definitely good but not a patch on 1 & 2, think i just prefer the environments in 1 & 2.
did anyone play the ac!d games on psp? thought they were decent, despite being fully different to the main games.
not sure where they've vanished to though

Re: Metal Gear Solid - Appreciation Thread
I'm going to have to buy MGS HD collection for ps3.
Re: Metal Gear Solid - Appreciation Thread
Still got the 1st one sitting on my ps3, keep fogetting to start it. Any day now...

Re: Metal Gear Solid - Appreciation Thread
Be warned people - two of my friends and I are racing to get every dog tag in the game. About an hour ago I found this glitch: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/632694-m ... n/61843682
So fucking annoying, can't complete the game on hard or extreme or European extreme

Re: Metal Gear Solid - Appreciation Thread
hearing the sample in its original context made me want to grab an old Playstation and not leave my room until i have completed the entire series.
Half - Life is its main competition in my books

I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone
Re: Metal Gear Solid - Appreciation Thread
Love me some Half Life but in my opinion their merits are in completely different areas. If we're going on purely gameplay Half Life wins. MGS has it's main strength in it's storyline so it's more comparable to something like Bioshock. In terms of controls the first two especially are notoriously awkward because of things like the camera angle. Half Life is more comparable to stuff like Mario/Zelda in its merits.-TraX- wrote:hearing the sample in its original context made me want to grab an old Playstation and not leave my room until i have completed the entire series.

mgs2 was shit, the third was incredible with the most epic ending ever
