he definitely trumped the house producers that opened for him.. however thats not saying much. it seemed to me he was peaking the system, i cant imagine there was that much of a difference between the 2 artists, rusko's no amateur. i wish i knew the wattage on the mullins center system. and yes, zoomass, its no joke. it was fucking buck wild all through his 2 1/2 hour set.

if you read my post, it said it was my first event. ;) i live in eastern us.. there really isnt quality dubstep touring here often. ps: you dont have to be so condescending, i realize im not a bass guru. i love that skrillex was completely forgotten in this thread hahah, this is more interesting anyways.

well then you are practically in the same boat as Sonika...

condescension is not my aim, im only here to educate.

the reality is though, if youve only seen rusko live, you have next to no idea what true subbass is...

ive had a pair of subwoofers for almost a year now, you dont need to hear a 2 million watt system to understand and love bass. you do however need a system capable of hitting 30hz to truly comprehend my love affair with smooth buttery low bass. i like to think i have quite idea. please, tell me what i am missing here :dunce:

What did you figure out from listening to him? Anything? Anything positive?

Hah. Well, first of all as a technique his use of contrast is of course very intriguing. Even if I don't like how he executes it. Like, what kinds of contrasts he is choosing and what kinds of sounds he's using and what kind of clichés. His success seems to be based on this contrast between cheesy melodies and the evil dubstep cliché. And, without the contrast, it would be completely unbearable. If it would be only the evil dubstep cliché sounds you would immediately want to turn it off after ten minutes. If it would be only the cheesy melodies and vocals, then it would be unbearable. The combination is what makes it interesting to me.

That doesnt make sense, that was a horrible connection, and a really bad pun.

Have a nice day.
